Industry · Tax and accounting firms

For tax and accounting firms.

Serious doesn’t mean stuffy – not even for a tax firm. And the real topic isn’t the website anyway, but the client portal behind it – the place where your clients move documents back and forth every day.

Why it’s different

Win new clients and make everyday work easier.

A firm’s website mainly has to do one thing: build trust and attract the right clients. That’s manageable and done in a few pages.

The part where things really get stuck is document exchange. If you still accept receipts by email, you have a data protection problem. If you use a bought-in portal, you often have an interface clients can’t use – and then the receipts end up in email again.

A portal that someone designed before someone built it solves exactly that. SangCare runs on the same pattern: login, documents, uploads with type and period, admin overview.

What I do for tax and accounting firms

Brand, website and client portal for tax and accounting firms.

Brand & Graphic Design

An identity that looks serious without being stuffy – from the logo to the letterhead.

More on brand & graphic design

Web Design & Development

A firm website for specialisms, team and careers that brings new clients and applications.

Portals & Applications

A client portal for receipts and reports that nobody needs to explain.

More on portals

Presence and client portal from one person.

Client portal

The portal brings together login, document exchange, uploads with type and period and an admin overview – custom-built and hosted in Germany.

Usable without explanation

A portal your clients don’t understand won’t be used – and then the receipts come by email again.

Specialisms, not a catch-all

Inheritance, business succession, start-ups – each with its own page, because that’s exactly what people search for.

A team with faces

Clients come through people. Names, responsibilities, direct lines – not one shared email address.

Careers

The skills shortage hits firms hard. Job ads in the CMS, with honest statements about working hours.

Professional rules considered

Advertising rules, mandatory information, professional liability – the details are complete without smothering the site.

Existing systems

If you already use software, I first check whether the portal can connect to it, instead of building a second system next to it.

Data protection

Client data is especially protected. Server location, encryption, deletion periods and a data processing agreement are part of the offer.

An honest assessment

No firm yet, but exactly this portal.

I haven’t worked for a tax firm yet. But I have built the pattern: for SangCare I developed a portal with login, documents, uploads and an admin area that even handles employment contracts. A client portal is technically the same task with different document types.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises.

01

Trace the paths

How does a receipt reach you today, and how does a report go back? Often several paths run side by side that nobody consciously planned.

02

Design the portal

Roles, document types, deadlines. First as a draft we go through together.

03

Add the website

The public part is quick once the specialisms are settled. It follows the portal, not the other way round.

04

Build and hand over

Build, data protection documents, training for team and clients. After that, everything belongs to you.

Before you get in touch

Are we a good fit?

Good signs

  • ✓Document exchange is your real topic.
  • ✓You have specialisms you want to name.
  • ✓The team may appear with names and faces.
  • ✓You want to make getting started easy for clients, not just show expertise.

Probably not

  • ×You need tax advice on the website itself.
  • ×The portal should have as many features as possible.
  • ×Your budget is fixed before it’s clear what you need it for.

The questions that come sooner or later

Answered in advance.

Who owns the site in the end?

You do. Domain, access and content run on your own accounts, and I build the site so someone else could take it over without untangling it first. That keeps you independent of me.

What if I’m not around?

You get all access details, the files and documentation someone else can read. Classes and structure are named so other developers can find their way around.

How long does it take?

That depends a lot on the scope – a website is on a different scale from a portal or an ongoing collaboration. You’ll get a reliable timeframe after our first conversation.

What does it cost?

One-page websitefrom €2,500
Multi-page websitefrom €5,000
Brand design for your companyfrom €3,500
Client portalfrom €10,000
Ongoing supportfrom €350 per month

I’ll give you the exact scope after our first conversation.
