For photographers.

Everything you show has one job: making your signature visible without getting in front of it. Every detail that pushes itself forward takes something away from your images.

Why it’s different

The site should look the way you photograph.

Anyone opening your site should know within three seconds how you photograph. Not which template you bought. On most websites the image is decoration – for you it’s the product, and everything else has to follow it.

In practice that means: one typeface, lots of white space, no animation competing with your images. And image sizes solved technically so the gallery arrives in full quality without anyone waiting.

The second point is maintenance. A portfolio you can only change through me is out of date after six months. That’s why series and projects live in the CMS.

What I do for photographers

Brand, portfolio and client area for photographers.

Brand & Graphic Design

A logo and identity that give your images room instead of competing with them.

More on brand & graphic design

Web Design & Development

A portfolio website with large images and no waiting, which you extend with new series yourself.

More on web design

Portals & Applications

A client gallery where your clients view and select their images.

More on portals

What photographers need.

Series in the CMS

You upload, sort and hide new work yourself. Every series gets its own address that can be shared and found individually.

Images without waiting

Every image comes in several resolutions and modern formats and loads as you scroll. Full quality, without anyone leaving.

Enquiries with the key details

The form asks for occasion, timeframe, location and budget range. These four fields save you half of your preliminary phone calls.

Prices or starting prices

If you like. People who find no number often don’t write at all – or write with completely different expectations.

Image rights and usage

What clients may do with the images, explained clearly instead of as a contract appendix. Saves awkward conversations later.

Client area

Optional: protected galleries with selection and download, instead of sending ten gigabytes via a file host.

Restrained design

One typeface and lots of white space, with no effect competing with your images.

Found by genre

Wedding, portrait, fine art, business – each as its own page, because that’s exactly how people search.

Example from the industry

An example from fine art photography.

For Helene Süß I built a portfolio website in Webflow. Her words afterwards: “From the start you had a great feel for my wishes and ideas and brought them to life exactly to my taste.”

How it works

Four steps, no surprises.

01

Review the images

Not everything that’s good belongs in the portfolio. We pick the work that brings the commissions you want.

02

Structure

By genre, by series or chronologically – the answer depends on what your clients are looking for.

03

Design

If helpful, I’ll show you design ideas or a clickable prototype first. I design with your real images instead of placeholders.

04

Build and hand over

Build, image optimisation, testing on real devices, training. After that you upload new series yourself.

Before you get in touch

Are we a good fit?

Good signs

  • ✓You have enough work to make a selection.
  • ✓You want to upload new series yourself afterwards.
  • ✓Fewer images, but the right ones – you can live with that.
  • ✓The site should show your signature, not mine.

Probably not

  • ×All images should go on the site; choosing is hard.
  • ×Your budget is fixed before it’s clear what you need it for.
  • ×A ready-made template would do the job.

The questions that come sooner or later

Answered in advance.

Who owns the site in the end?

You do. Domain, access and content run on your own accounts, and I build the site so someone else could take it over without untangling it first. That keeps you independent of me.

What if I’m not around?

You get all access details, the files and documentation someone else can read. Classes and structure are named so other developers can find their way around.

How long does it take?

That depends a lot on the scope – a website is on a different scale from a portal or an ongoing collaboration. You’ll get a reliable timeframe after our first conversation.

What does it cost?

One-page websitefrom €2,500
Multi-page websitefrom €5,000
Brand design for your companyfrom €3,500
Client portalfrom €10,000
Ongoing supportfrom €350 per month

I’ll give you the exact scope after our first conversation.
