Strong expertise, digitally invisible – that applies to a surprising number of firms. It’s rarely the skill that’s missing. It’s the structure that shows it.
Why it’s different
Engineering firms win contracts through recommendations and references. Yet most websites show three keywords and a photo of the office building.
People awarding contracts want to know something else: have you done this before, at what scale, in which project phases, and who was responsible?
That’s not a design question but a structural one. References belong in the CMS, with size, project phases and client – then they can be found individually and grow without anyone touching a layout.
What I do for engineering firms

Not “we plan everything”, but exactly what you take on and what you don’t. People awarding contracts look for the boundaries, not completeness.

Engineers are scarce. Job ads in the CMS, with concrete statements instead of “dynamic team”.
Company profile, certificates and credentials as downloads in one place – instead of five emails back and forth.
Optional: a protected area where clients view plans and progress instead of receiving them by email.
Your own project photos instead of stock images of hard hats. That’s the biggest difference from the competition.
People search for discipline plus region – that needs pages of its own, not one catch-all page.
An honest assessment

You do. Domain, access and content run on your own accounts, and I build the site so someone else could take it over without untangling it first. That keeps you independent of me.
You get all access details, the files and documentation someone else can read. Classes and structure are named so other developers can find their way around.
That depends a lot on the scope – a website is on a different scale from a portal or an ongoing collaboration. You’ll get a reliable timeframe after our first conversation.
