About

I design like a designer and build like a developer. That combination is rare.

I’m 27 and from Erlangen near Nuremberg, Germany. Right now I’m travelling between Southeast Asia and Australia. My focus is on design people enjoy looking at – and on the technology that carries it.

How I got here

Nobody plans a CV like this. Neither did I.

University

I studied media and communication and learned how a message has to be built before it’s allowed to be beautiful. You can still tell today: I first ask what you actually want to say. We talk about colours afterwards.

Agency and brands

Working on projects for Adidas, Puma, STABILO and an advertising and events agency, I learned something I’ve carried with me ever since: big brands don’t design more beautifully than everyone else. They just stick to their own system consistently.

Freelance

For several years now I’ve been working for my own clients. I started with graphics and web, then whole brands came along and eventually development – because the question of how a site actually works wouldn’t let go of me.

Today

Today my focus lies right in between: high-quality design in every area a project needs, and the technical build along with it. Brand, website, print, portals – the standards stay the same, whether something is printed or runs in a browser.

How I work

I notice when something isn’t right.

I notice subtle differences: the mood in a conversation just as much as the detail that sits two pixels off. For me the two belong together – if you notice when something isn’t right, you notice it with people too.

That’s why it matters to me that you feel comfortable. That you look forward to our calls. And that you know what I’m working on without having to ask.

Where it counts, I’m pragmatic. Something that’s only beautiful isn’t enough for me – it also has to work.

On the road

I can work from anywhere.

I love freedom and the wider world, and that’s exactly why I’m self-employed. Right now I’m travelling through Southeast Asia and Australia – until the end of 2027.

For you, that changes little: we talk by video instead of in an office, and if you’re based in Erlangen or Nuremberg, we’ll meet as soon as I’m home.

I’m used to working across time zones – and sometimes your project has moved on a step by the time you wake up.
