PINKYPACT sells UV gel wraps, press-ons and accessories for nail design. What they needed was new packaging design.
That sounds like one task, but it’s a dozen: the products vary a lot in size and shape. What works on a wrap pack no longer fits on a press-on box.
That’s why I didn’t design a single pack but a design principle: how brand, product name, contents and image relate to each other, regardless of format and material. This principle also carries products that don’t even exist yet.
Design and final artwork in Illustrator, with die lines set up for the different formats. The labels for the product contents follow the same grid as the outer packaging. I also designed the packaging for the accessories, such as nail glue, adhesive pads and tools, and set it up print-ready.
On top of that, the product images and online graphics for the shop, so that packaging and shop make the same promise – which is exactly where packaging projects usually fall apart.
